Proactive Cancer Screening

Low Dose CT Chest

A low-dose CT scan of the chest used for early detection of lung abnormalities in individuals with relevant risk factors.

A low-dose CT (LDCT) of the chest is a low-radiation imaging study that can detect small pulmonary nodules and other abnormalities before they are more advanced and cause symptoms.

Although lung cancer screening is traditionally focused on individuals with a significant smoking history, lung cancer also occurs in people without conventional risk factors. Family history, environmental exposures, and genetic factors may all influence individual risk.

Within the longevity program, LDCT chest is included in higher tier memberships as part of a broader strategy for early detection. All findings are interpreted by a radiologist and reviewed with you by your internal medicine physician, with clear recommendations for follow-up imaging, additional investigations, or specialist referral when appropriate.

Access this through the Longevity program

Lung cancer is far more treatable when it is caught small, and a low-dose CT can do exactly that. It is included at the higher Longevity tiers at Integria Precision Medicine where your risk factors warrant it, with any findings read by a radiologist and reviewed with your physician. Worth raising if lung health is on your radar.
