Extended Metabolic Blood Work

A blood panel measuring fasting glucose, insulin, HbA1c, and related markers of metabolic health.

Blood sample tubes for extended metabolic blood work at Integria Precision Medicine

Extended metabolic blood work goes beyond a fasting glucose measurement to include insulin (fasting and, in some cases, post-prandial), HbA1c (three-month average glucose), HOMA-IR (a calculated index of insulin resistance), and related markers of metabolic health. The aim is to identify insulin resistance and metabolic dysfunction years before it reaches the threshold of pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes on a standard screen.

This panel is included at every tier of both the Menopause and Longevity programs, with repeat intervals scaled to your tier. Results are interpreted alongside your nutrition panel, lipid profile, and lifestyle factors (sleep, movement, stress) to build a full metabolic picture. Where interventions are warranted, they are structured and tracked through the year rather than recommended and forgotten.

Available through Longevity or Menopause membership

Insulin resistance tends to build quietly, often years before a standard glucose test would catch it. This panel adds fasting insulin, HbA1c and HOMA-IR to find it early, and your physician reads it alongside your nutrition and lifestyle to build a real metabolic picture. It is included in both programs at Integria Precision Medicine.
