Dr. Anna Purdy is a highly respected General Internal Medicine specialist with more than two decades of experience caring for patients across hospital and community settings in Calgary. Her career has combined clinical excellence, scientific training, medical education, and senior healthcare leadership.
Following postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and General Internal Medicine, Dr. Purdy built a broad clinical practice focused on the care of medically complex adults, with expertise in cardiovascular risk assessment, metabolic health, complex hypertension, and diagnostic challenges involving multiple organ systems. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based medicine and a commitment to helping patients navigate complex health concerns with clarity and confidence.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Purdy has held several senior leadership positions within Alberta’s healthcare system.
